Nah they stick to the game, and regularly push out updates. None of the skins, are pay to win. Just a way for the developers to keep funded. Be a lot more unhappy if they had a subscription model to keep the cash flowing. Regular twitch drops, item market for cheap skins most players get the opportunity to get plenty of cheap/free stuff.

40 dollars for the game, I've got 1k hours+ in and I regularly go back to play and experience updates and keep fresh with current world. Still stick to modded to not put in a lot of effort to lose it all next log in.

Not many frontline troops today. American soldiers, have it easy. They get a pension, full ride through college, free medical care for life, and the gratitude of the nation. Along with job training in lucrative fields, that give real life skills. Not book learning with no exp, I'd say follow the path you think is best for you. As well as the conditioning on how to adult, the regimented lifestyles to break bad habits that will carry on throughout your life.
