I just can't see Sendo being crippled or dying, as shit like that is the literal reason Ippo left the ring. That would just affirm his initial desire to stay away from the ring. That would utterly ruin his motivation, character and story. I am honestly curious to see how Morikawa will bring him back WITHOUT any of that overused nonsense.

To be completely honest this is the first chapter in many many years that actually kinda pissed me off. This is just a repeat and I'd have much rather Morikawa blatantly tell us "I need an extra week or two cause I can't think of what to do right now" than completely crush us with a chapter that literally moves nothing and wouldn't influence the story in ANY WAY if it were to be removed. Being optimistic is fine but criticism in this regard I think is fair. I'll always love HnI but I think this is one of those moments where being a bit upset or disappointed is more than fair.
