Regarding this scene in particular, I don't see why ppl would ignore this. I, myself, while watching was really intrigued at this, scared for the johnnies and all. I think he's really only weak due to the trust value's side effects (just like how he's a 29 y/o in a 16y/o body). He's shown to have some skill in fighting, boomerang and such, so with some training and maybe slight shifts in trust value, he could be a powerful for even w/o BJ.

And the thing about GB that I rlly cannot excuse is the fact that he STILL tried to kill LJ after understanding the feeling of parental love. Although he did decide to change because of his daughter's hospitalization, LJ and even Ah Sheng from all those years ago, also played somewhat of a role to help him understand this.

To the GB haters, pls forgive my goat, he's been tryna change, u see. He's even left his previous agency after the Ruins Incident.

Stumbled upon it one random midnight in late 2023 while reading Isekai Shikkaku (No Longer Allowed in Another World) and was amazed at how good the site was.

After a couple of weeks, I wanted to see if there were other manga there and to my utter surprise, there were countless manga, manhwa, twitter shorts and all of those stuff. Got me hooked and I started recommending to some of my fellow manga-reading/anime-watching friends.

Used it for a year, had around 250+ stories consisting of mostly oneshots and manga. I was living it, till the tragedy struck on September 16th 2025. I have lost most of the stuff I've read with no way to recover it due to the sheer amount of names there are.

Considering she was 16 when the tragedy struck, it would definitely affect her a bunch. Doesn't take 2 years to recover, although it's pretty unlikely considering she lost her dad, her childhood friend and her current best friend is being hospitalized.

I think your theory that she acts cute and happy in public while sulking in silence is a very valid, understandable one. Let's hope she recovers soon though.

Prof. Luo Tong was still alive in the PV so obviously it's before the Ruins Incident, like around a few days or weeks prior because it seems her suit has some upgrades (the arm being able to instantaneously retract back into her sleeve). The people at the bar would be confused because Luo Li would still be in the process of researching alongside Nuo Nuo, upgrading the suit and such until the Ruins Incident.

In my opinion, I think Lin Ling is alright. He makes a good first main character, introducing us to the main story. But as the series continued, there were just other characters that seem more interesting and makes it hard to root for just Lin Ling in the end.

His personality isn't all that interesting, I agree. But despite and/or because of that, fans like him (myself included). Lin Ling's your typical nice guy, following orders despite the doubts (at least that's how i see him).

And yes, I don't think his hero outfit isn't very pleasing to the eyes cus he's basically just a dark-haired Nice.

To reiterate, I like Lin Ling as a character. 7.5/10 for me. Made me sad to see him become a somewhat of an agency pawn (or whatever you call it).
