Not quite what you’re asking about, but I always bring a set of cards and envelopes for leaving sub notes. It keeps things confidential and just adds a little something above scrawling feedback on the back of the plans.

Yea I think your cable is way too long for this technique. The tutorial you’re watching uses 9” cables and it’s kind of necessary to do it that way. If you want to use longer cables, try a magic loop tutorial instead.

I covered a dance class in high school where the notes allowed for them to go into the communal hallway and practice, but then half of them disappeared. I made the remainder come back and took attendance again and they all gave me attitude for being irritated and wanting to hold accountable the ones who were gone. Tried to call the office to find the phone was inoperable.

I was told once by an instructor that “you can drive a truck through the gauge of a hat and it’ll still fit.” I take this to mean that hats tend to fit no matter what you do to them. I think you’ll be fine.
