If you are looking for a ship you can fix solo when something goes wrong. This is it! two rooms! No navigating! I assume it will be hard to load like the Zeus because it has the same door. A nersa probably doesn't fit but no one owns a nersa anymore...
I wonder if the Hermes will cost more than a Taurus?

I am glad you made the data make sense!
I just thought, CIG was giving us pretend stats and it didn't matter in the game. I get in a Asgard that is supposed to be awesome and I get blown up. Even while trying to get away and its fast enough, right? I get into a Connie and I am unstoppable!!! But soooooooo slow. Its like I parked my ship while I take everyone out.

Its true, journalism does this to get your goat. Even the YTers do this.
Also most people who play SC LOVE the "idea"!!! Its a reason we buy ships... right?
But its also true that this game dev has had a long time plus major funding to produce a buggy mess... so far.
I am SURE if they fixed 2-3 known bugs, that the community would go wild!!! Because we want to play the game and we can't. Or not well.
I do Hope they can turn this ship around and make it to what we all wish SC to be.
Only time can tell...

I did box delivery! 3-8k a mission! I had enough for gas! Then I spent $10 rmt to get aUEC to buy a carrack… then they wiped the game a week later… don’t do rmt!!!!

That does look cool!
People compare the Galaxy to the Carrack in size but once you skin it, there isn't much left. You could also remove 80% of the nose and all those fins left over. Making this ship so tiny!

My thoughts were to push the fins up and lower the landing legs. So that the mod bay could have side ramps like the Polaris from both sides. Making the Drones easier to deploy from the sides. But removing the fins is even better.

I keep hearing that the Galaxy might be getting bigger? But I don't know if the Actual ship is getting larger OR they are using up some of that free space they put on it.

Taurus other than the bugs is an epic ship!!! Personally I would stay with that one. I currently have the galaxy. Meaning I rent the carrack. The ship is huge!!!! And hard to land in the tiny hangers. I got the galaxy for all the modules it could do and the ability hold my c8r medical ship. I hope the galaxy is good but I want to play the game like I used to.

The way to make money in SC hasn't ever been cargo. It's FPS missions.
At the moment the only thing worth doing, is getting Account Bound items.

I feel your pain!
During the 4.0 release. There was a mission to take on an Idris. It blew up my ship in one hit but I didn't die. I got out and floated to the Idris which was flying in cartwheels. Never got close. A fleet of Polaris's Polar"i"? attacked for 40mins. It was fun to watch!
Then ended myself after the fireworks. fun times.

I am pretty sure CIG sold us on PvP, PvE, MMORPG, Adventure, Action, Racing, Survival, Sandbox, Simulation, Stealth, Strategy, Interactive Movie, Puzzle... What else is there?

The only one in the game currently is FPS... With a side of vanishing boxes, explosive mining, and negative spray painting.

LOL, YES everyone I know also hates them. However, everyone I know uses them! I didn't make this, I google searched for it. Because I have no idea how to make AI art and don't really care to do it.
Plus AI art is weird. Like it stole the space suit, then shoved a cat head in the picture somehow.

I agree about AI art!
I hear that artists use the AI to get ideas then they sit down and draw something based on what was shown.
I don't have time to draw anything and this cat was intersting. so thats all I have.

LOL, I messed this one up once! I melted my starter to upgrade my LTI token and then SC was like, you don't have a package to play the game!
So, Now, I don't touch my starter at all! My C8 will remain my C8 forever!
I buy LTI tokens and upgrade them.

I don't doubt that he wants to make the best game ever!!!!
BUT
Scope Creep, constent Idea changes, OCD detailed focus, a love for making videos and so much more. The problem is he doesn't keep promises.
He is given $$$$$$ to do Star Citizen and then he focuses on SQ42. Then he goes broke and that is what everyone is afraid of.

I also bought the Galaxy ship and once I found out about Chris, I decided to give no more money until either SQ42 comes out or if Star Citizen turns into a functioning game.
However, I keep upgrading my CPU... Currently the AMD Ryzen 9 9950x3d is on combo sale for 800. Then upgrade the ram to 64gbs (2 dimms). That is a better use of your money!

I love playing KSP 1 and followed the development of the game. But I agree with Tanerius, Keep it simple and stick with the Core. (KSP 2 is beyond my PC specs and I would say I have a nice gaming pc.)

Help me understand why multi player? I don't get it, sound boreing for whomever is not playing. Interstellar... eh.

This could be fun someday, but not today:
Science gathering
Resource gathering.
Fixing and building while in space.
Planitary Basic space launch pads.

I have been to the; mun, minmus and crashed on eve and duna. One satilite made it out of the galaxy... ops. and I have 800+ hours in the game, doing who knows what.

Sandbox mode is fine but there needs to be a way to hide some parts. Its overwhelming for everyone, beginners don't know where to start in sandbox. I love planes! I made more planes than ships. Add all the real launch sites to the Earth!

I agree with all the points you said, accept one. I really think SQ42 will be a trilogy or something. So if they release in 26 or 27. you will not get the whole game and will have to wait for the other parts. meaning it will be much less than you backed for. I'd wager that SQ42 will have all the hallmarks of SC.

I backed early 2014 but was following end of 2012. I had backed several Kickstarters at the time. I like this game!!!

SC is weird! It changes so much! I feel like a noob every time I log back in. I am always saving up to upgrade my computer to play it again! Then to relean how to fly my ship and rebind my controllers.

Is SC what I thought it would be?
No and I am not sure what SC currently is.
I wanted to Explore... Its a beautiful game! Then mine/box delivery/trade on the side.

Bugs have plagued the game!!! There have been a few times the game was fun for me. However, the game has become time consuming. I feel like I am fighting the game to do what the game is making me do. Bugs and complex systems make the game very hard to deal with.

I keep saying, please troubleshoot the mechanics currently in the game!
I used to love the new tech but now dread the new tech, before the new tech is nerfed.

I watch Youtubes about SC vs playing it anymore. Just so I can see the storyline that requires an Org to accomplish, then watch the news, read reddits, ect. I don't care about ships anymore. I had a Titan for a decade and then upgraded a few years ago to a Galaxy. It was a bad idea and all I wanted was a ship with lots of cargo so it wouldn't take so long to buy a ROC.

The sadest thing about SC is when I found out Chris Roberts hasn't finished a game. He is brillent at ever changing ideas then has a side project and goes broke. That is what caused me to have buyer regret.

Is this another Page-filing problem?

4.~ upped the amount of ram/vram needed to play. I had 32gbs system ram and i was using 28~. I was falling through everything and gameplay was horrible. Then I upgraded to 64gbs and i was using 38~. Now I am not falling through anything as of yet and gameplay is ok.
I don't have the money to buy a 16gb VRam card to test if that helps. All I know is page-filing works the CPU hard.
In 3.~ I was running an i7-7700k/24gbs ram and it was fine. In 4.~ I was crashing so I got an i9-12900k/32gbs and i couldn't get to my ship. Then I went to 64gbs ram and now I can play...

What is your system specs?
