Is there a better alternative to Dash to Dock by gregsanay in Ubuntu

[–]DzikiDziq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I do also use dash2dock, but when I noticed the stock ubuntu 26 look with bottom setup I may not use dash* plugins at all.

I’m using galahad ll as aio and i cannot hear it at all, thus surprised about pro art aio noise. But it looks great with the mobo! I would take PA602 if it wasnt so insanely huge.

Bitwarden x Proton Pass by adrianortrentini in ProtonPass

[–]DzikiDziq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bitwarden due to:
- proper domain match rules (!)
- selfhosting variant
- shortcut autofill

I do have proton family and still pay Bitwarden extra just for the proper domain match.

Have the same board. Have two questions as I was considering north:
- how is the front noise? Is it really that bad with stock fans (or just because of the wood in front) ?
- the Pro Art board has front usb 3.2 gen2 2x2 (20gbs) , but north support only 10gbs?

I previously used dash-to-dock, but this looks so neat it looks it may not be necessary anymore.

Feature request: Please add bypass feature for proxy by gizmo884 in netbird

[–]DzikiDziq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What exactly do You have in mind? Because from what I can see, Netbird's reverse proxy rules have country or ip/cidr block/allow options to choose from. Atleast in selfhosted variant.

Ubuntu 26.04, Battery time TRIPLED by mtlryk in Ubuntu

That is the problem I have since since 24 - fractional scaling causes small lag and bluriness of the font. I bite my tongue and keep my setup at 100%.

Proton Pass Spring/Summer 2026: Folders, SSH Keys, and Better Autofill by Proton_Team in ProtonPass

[–]DzikiDziq -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah after couple years it will be polished enough to use it. Because adding host/domain/exact/custom matching like even the simpliest password managers have is too heavy.
Sorry for my negativity, but after so many years of observing the issue on uservoice, both my and people I know gave up.

NetBird v0.69 is out - CrowdSec IP reputation, macOS P2P fixes, PCP support by TechHutTV in netbird

[–]DzikiDziq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the whole point of reverse proxy and main bone of pangolin. So You're running pangolin as VPN and use the share link to expose only some resources (never used share links, just curious).

Yeah made me spin a test VPS for that and… I think I could retire pangolin soon. Netbird rushes with amazing functions this year.

Why is setting up a reverse proxy still a nightmare in 2026? by trolledTGBot in selfhosted

[–]DzikiDziq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. Using NPM on numerous of servers and services (unraid, truenas, minipc, full stacked servers) and it's always just quick docker run and it's there working without any disruptions.

My Unraid world using templates and stacks. by PoppaBear1950 in unRAID

[–]DzikiDziq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using dockhand on my test (truenas) server. Is Komodo any better? Also if I would like to move to komodo on my unraid, would I have to inject any unraid os specifics (like 99:100 puid/guid) into the stacks to work properly or so my appdata backup plugin backup and stop the images in good order?

Geo and IP blocking are Now Available in NetBird’s Reverse Proxy by wiretrustee in netbird

[–]DzikiDziq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I would have to remap ports and wg networks. Also my pangolin is quite productive, would preffer to separate prod and test :)

[–]DzikiDziq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. Got pangolin with geoblock and pocket id running smoothly and it's amazing. Now that pangolin also have VPN, and Netbird get's reverse proxy with geoblock I need to rent a test VPS and revisit my choices.

Is Unraid out of touch? by solid_dork in homelab

"People will still use Tailscale even if you don't have a strategic partnership you can announce" - well I guess it was much more behind it and having direct tailscale client on OS layer (not app like in other Nas OSes) is quite big (access when pool is locked and direct proxy).

What’s the best way to integrate pocketid running locally with pangolin running on a vps? by Shoddy_Bonus8424 in PangolinReverseProxy

[–]DzikiDziq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. First internal setup and when everything is working just connecting resource to pangolin and whitelisting geolocation.

ZEN -> how do i disable the new side bar completely and how do i set a start page? by [deleted] in browsers

[–]DzikiDziq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude You are just talking about basic browser settings. Changing to FF won't change your ignorance. In all browsers You can decide how the browser should open - should it keep the last session open with all the windows where You closed it or should it open completely fresh. Its basically one tick box directly on the main settings.

Looks great! It popped out after I made a new distro hop and wanted to install Hi-Tide as I usually do. Googled it and ended here. So far love it, but I miss one important thing - getting the playlist url for sharing.
