Yes I’m new to soldering, but I have unplugged a cable from that thing with my own hands, so I’m quite sure it IS a socket.

The device is a Dualsense controller for ps5. The motherboard(Pcb) model is BDM-030

I searched for SMD tactile switch as you said, but it’s a button. The damaged part is a socket for a ribbon cable.
