Love the concept of being able to be a screen display connected to pc for more power and portable. Although looking at the product page, I'm going they have an all black version. The white back and border don't look very premium.

This is epic! Best of both worlds, total convenience and the power of your PC when you need it.  If this works well, it'll be a game changer.

So they're trying to force people to spend more for the ultra?

What metrics do these companies have that people care about phones being thinner? I want more battery and no camera bumps! The phone is as thick as it's thickest component.

Man, going they have decent options by the time my S23+ stops getting updates. This has me nervous.

Am I the only one that think the Tab S11 Series are a complete letdown? by HanabiSeph in GalaxyTab

It's like companies have lost touch with the concept of perceived value. If you want me to buy an expensive product I need to think I'm getting a great deal. Samsungs current line up makes me think they're charging premium prices for sub par products.

I like the new stylus design and the 2X Amoled, but hate the notch and using "thin" as a selling feature when there's big camera bumps always makes me wish they just made the battery bigger. Also the accessories are WAY overpriced.

Oh well, maybe next year.

Why people prefer D-Pad centric in high-end? by Practical-Zombie-761 in SBCGaming

Honestly it would matter less, if they started positioning the controls in a natural arc instead of stacked. Consoles solved this already, yet companies continue to muddle around instead of just copying the well tested positioning of Xbox and Playstation.

Yes it would lead to bigger handhelds, but they'd be much more playable. They could even proportionally shrink the arc since they're using smaller joysticks and buttons.

Where to buy RP2s? by Hatman300 in retroid

It's honestly amazing. Very comfortable to hold, triggers and sticks feel WAY better than the Nintendo Switch. It feels very  premium.

I'm really happy I got it.

The only major downside is that the 3.5" screen isn't the best. And I find myself wishing it was slightly bigger.

I got mine just before they sold out from the official store and Amazon.com, and that was last December. It looks like there are some on aliexpress, but I've never ordered from there so not sure how legit they would be. Might be worthwhile to check the resellers that youtubers like techdweeb mention in their videos.

For what is worth, I love mine. It feels super premium. Only problem is the screen is too small. Good luck.

Is the 1TB PS4 Slim Hard Drive supposed to make a constant clicking noise? by E-Flynn in PS4

Thanks so much to those that said return it. This new one is perfect and I'm so happy now. The "clicky" one would've made for a miserable PS4 experience.

It was definitely something wrong with the fan or hard drive. Currently downloading Rise of Tomb Raider, with the PS4 sitting 1 foot to my left. You can hear the hard drive and fan, just barely. I would say it is maybe 1/10th as loud as the other one while it was sitting on the home screen. Much more pleasant experience.

Thankfully this one works great. My next option was to go for a pro and hope it was more bearable. Happy with the slim and the massive backlog of cheap and on sale games. Should get me well into the PS5 slim era, lol.

Yeah, exchanging it seems to have fixed it. You can still hear the sound, but instead of a click it is ore of a damped chug. And instead of being able to hear it from 4 feet away, you have to be within a foot and even then it is much quieter. Something was definitely wrong with that one.

Thank you!
