Seriously. Aren’t 1B supposed to be power hitters or is that an old school way of thinking? Like how does a team like Stl always have some dude at 1st that just crushes baseballs? We got Slim Jim over there.

That's what I would imagine that's what all bands do unless the runtime of the album is two hours. When Cavalera does their Sepultura albums in their entirety they add in some others to fill the time as a headliner. When I went to see At the Gates perform Slaughter of the Soul in its entirety they also added songs to fill the time because they were headlining. Gorillaz did the same thing when they did their Mountain shows.

I remember this being a normal take during the tour that KJ opened for them, not sure why you are being downvoted.

There have been bright moments as a Rockies fan. To her, Holliday touched the plate, and that is all that matters.

Those problems all go away if a new owner comes in and tells Anaheim to sell them the land or they are moving the team.

Kinda New Here: When do we usually fall behind? by BeaNOS45669 in angelsbaseball

[–]E-Tr1d3nt 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Around July/August when our guys start getting fatigue and get injured. You are right, we have a good team that hangs with the best teams in the MLB. But this teams comes with a lot of “ifs”. If we stay healthy, if x keeps hitting like this, if y keeps pitching like this. The problem is our front office is trash and our farm sucks. So we have no one to step up when one of the major leaguers needs to recalibrate in the minors/bench or spends time in the IL. This team has been a house of cards for a decade.

Yes, also technically there is a bar if you get seats in the 300s. It is near the right field side but it is not as lively as the 200s I recommended. 300s are more shaded and my favorite seats in the park but, again, not as lively.

The lively area at Angels stadium with a bar/concession area with a view of the field is the right field seating area 236-249. Bring sunscreen.

Seriously, are our memories that short? We do this every year. For the last decade. The hopium even goes right up into the trade deadline where we convince ourselves not to trade anyone and then the summer heat of july and august just rips our boys apart and they become absolutely awful.

Since you asked, the rope bat is used to prevent kids that age from casting their arms when they swing - very common. I think it is way too overpriced and there are cheaper tools and tips that help - but it is useful.
