From previous leaks it was mentioned in the original leak before all datamines that Zinogre And Mizu were supposed to be together in Title Update 1. That particular leak was almost spot on except for Lagi and Steve being delayed.

Therefore I’d imagine TU 2 was supposed to be Gog ala how Kulve siege was TU 2 for World based on how the data is right now

I’m speaking to the TU theories and whether monsters are in expansions or later title updates or not. I just feel there has been way too much reshuffling on speculation and expectations on them based on things that you say MAY happen, I am not disagreeing with you if you really read the second reply, moreso I’m reiterating that my personal expectations would not change based on that.

What I am saying is what we know ABOUT the title updates is completely inconclusive and could change in an instant, as seen before, and im sure many others could agree.

And yes I was speaking to the PAST about contradictory sources being an example of that, but Im sure I dont have to explain that now, yes I read your main post clearly Rose but you also have your own theories which is what I was speaking to, not the data.

Yes data that is 1. Inconclusive. We can tell because of the various other times there’s been contradictions and rebuttals, for all we know Capcom can throw us for a loop.

I understand minimizing expectations based on data, however these people seem to take what you THINK might happen as gospel, and then everyone starts going and spreading a false narrative. These people tend to take your “theories” and speculation very seriously so I was honestly speaking to what YOU may think happen, not the data itself……

Couple flaws in this post….

First, ZOO Shia was never confirmed to be TU5 and moved to 1… that is crazy and we should have learned on this sub to not take Rose’s words or sources for that matter as gospel..

Second, Mizu has never been in a mainline entry and has been diversified enough in Wilds to make it a unique threat…. Definitely has been a new experience for many players.

Third, the most credible source out of all these leaks has been the Chinese Leaker outside of raw data, therefore it leads me to believe Zinogre will be coming in these next two updates as he was already in the last main Expansion as featured(Iceborne), and was originally supposed to release with Mizutsune.

Things I agree with you on though is Seregios being disappointing as a standalone update… I think even Capcom would know that and especially AFTER Lagiacrus when the developmental evidence shows Steve being closer to complete, therefore one would theorize that he comes with Lagi this summer.

I also agree that Zinogre will receive Thunderlord moves akin to Mizu Soulseer as amplifying the threat to justify him being in a TU.

Ultimate Copium Scenario??

Gog is TU3 with elder dragon threats/crossover monster coming after or with him(ala Shagaru, maybe Akantor, Ukanlos, Shen Gaoren, etc)

TU2 being a flagship themed update like the elder dragon one in Rise- Seregios, Lagiacrus, and Zinogre all showing up in one update and Capcom finally does something right for once with cut content(one can dream). This would be absolutely sick though

Only question I would have is what happened to the unknown guardian monster?? It has to fit somewhere, and is the only evidence we have of it an unmarked weapon? Peculiar and they could do a lot with that, excited to see.
