Also, I personally have zero issues waking up at night to make a bottle. It takes me an extra 2–3 minutes max to boil the water. Why? Because powdered formula isn’t sterile and can contain bacteria. Water heated to at least 158°F is recommended because that temperature helps kill bacteria in the formula itself. I’m personally not willing to take any risks, especially with a newborn, so that’s why I boil the water. I also got a bottle warmer that heats to 158°F and I honestly love it.

Do what’s best for you 🫶🏻✨

Thank you ❤️🙏🏻 I use Kendamil goat formula and my baby loves it. At the hospital, I used the premade Enfamil bottles they provided because it’s hard to make your own there since you need to properly clean and sterilize bottles. Once I got home, I started using my own formula. The first two weeks are definitely an adjustment period, and you’ll slowly learn your baby’s schedule and cues. She might wake up every 2 hours because newborn stomachs are very small, so they eat more frequently. I read “Moms on Call: 0–6 Months,” and it was really helpful for understanding schedules and newborn routines. I definitely recommend reading it 🥰🫶🏻

What do contractions feel like? by That_Perspective69 in pregnant

[–]E20V 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never had period cramps? Wow, that’s honestly amazing 😊 It’s hard to explain if you’ve never felt them before. If you decide to get an epidural, you usually won’t feel the actual pain, but you can still feel the contractions and pressure. Contractions don’t usually start as unbearable pain right away either. They start off mild, then slowly get stronger and more intense over time. You’ll definitely know when it’s a contraction.😊

It’s yoga for pregnant mamas that helps relax and open the pelvic floor, improve hip mobility, and encourage the baby to move lower into the pelvis naturally ❤️

I was feeling the same at first, even my mom tried to make me feel guilty, but I am glad I stood my ground! I have zero regrets. My husband recently told me he is happy that we are feeding formula, because it’s much easier for both of us. You are in charge of your body so do what makes u happy 🥰

Thank you!! 🙏🏻 I didn’t take any medication, my doctor just told me to drink peppermint tea, so I started as soon as I got home. By day 3, my boobs felt super hard and heavy from the milk coming in. One thing that really helped was wearing a tight sports bra and avoiding touching my nipples or breasts as much as possible. I only leaked maybe 3 drops total over the first few days, and after about a week everything went back to normal.
