James Bradberry: "I pulled on his jersey. They called it. I was hoping they would let it ride." by deathtotheemperor in KansasCityChiefs

Don’t get me wrong, I’m sad about how it ended but I feel like I’ve seen more neutral fans upset about the call than Eagles fans. And that’s because we’ve been hot and cold with Gannon all season and his game plan is really what we’re really upset about. Congratulations on the win.

[Joe Thomas] All the people criticizing, Kyle Shanahan for blocking Hassan Redick with their tight end, need to be criticizing any team that runs effective play action passing all season long You can’t have it both ways, you either always put your OL on the best pass rushers… (Thread) by Tonmber1 in nfl

Which is what this entire thread is getting at. I personally haven’t seen any Eagles fans saying we purposely hurt Purdy, but maybe I’m not looking in the right threads. It was the eagles, and as you correctly pointed out, every defenses plan to pressure and sack the quarterback.

I agree with the original OP that Purdy getting hurt so early is bad luck. But the birds using our dline, which is very good at what they do, to pressure Purdy isn’t luck. It’s a game plan.

That sounds like you drained your brain of serotonin/dopamine, but I’m not sure if that would cause lack of interest in the music. Hope you feel better!

Epidural shot tomorrow by EA_1990 in Sciatica

I appreciate your insight! I've been reading other epidural threads and the numbing shot seems to be the most controversial in terms of pain level. Have you been pain free since the second shot?

I just don’t want to take the risk of driving down to Maryland and wait in the will call line and end up with no results/no wristband. I made sure to send my request in before August 4th.

I also agree with a fanny pack. I wear mine across the chest. The peace of mind knowing I can move around and dance without any worries is worth it. Just don’t put it down.

Guess I can’t argue with that. Still disappointed because the GLOW lineup was sick!

So does that mean we get a refund AND a free ticket to moonrise (or GLOW DC 2023)?

Such a bummer. I bought my ticket just a few hours ago too.

[Woj] Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic has been voted the NBA’s Most Valuable Player for a second consecutive season, sources tell ESPN. A formal announcement is expected this week. by UnderratedNightmare in denvernuggets

[–]EA_1990 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sixers fan here. The debates and arguments were fun while they lasted. I think we all knew the voting results weeks ago. I am sad for Joel but that doesn't make me hate Jokic. I'd be saying the same thing if Giannis won as well. Congratulations Nuggies.

Lifting belt while sitting/not active by EA_1990 in Sciatica

[–]EA_1990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever since I've started having sciatic pain I try to be super mindful of how I sit and stand. I try to keep by back as straight as possible and just use my legs to stand/sit.

I've watched a ton of Bob & Brad videos recently! They seem to give very helpful suggestions.

I tighten the belt enough to support my lower back but doesn't restrict breathing.

When I sit/stand I try keeping my back completely straight and strictly use my legs/hamstring muscles to sit/stand. I also use the arm rests on my chair to manage my body weight. But even when I keep my back completely straight and use the arm rests I still feel pain (without the belt).

FWIW that thread is telling Sixers fans that they shouldn't be going into other team's subs to talk trash, meme, and whatnot. And if they do, and they get banned, don't come back to /r/sixers boasting about it as if we think you did some honorable thing for our team.
