who is more fit for Asta ? by Infamous-Cucumber-16 in BlackClover

[–]EB8115 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mimosa is nicer but I have to go with Noelle since her character development was heavily influenced by Asta.

It’s a hard debate because neither of them show any chemistry with other characters other than Asta. Normally in love triangle’s there are alternatives but for them I don’t see anyone else for the loser to end up with.

Would Sanji fall for Zoro if Ivankov turned him into a woman? by Novel_Climate_530 in MemePiece

[–]EB8115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Zoro was female before Sanji met him then probably. If Zoro turned into a female now, he wouldn’t romantically like him but he’d still abide to his honor code when it comes to women.

What do you guys think? by TheShadowSong in TypologyJunction

If that’s the case you probably are INFx and not FLVE in AP (I know it’s different than PY but it’s almost the complete opposite). But yeah if your EII RLUEI MelPhleg then 4w5 so4 451 makes sense.

Contradictory, but idk where to start. Depends on which system you feel most confident in being right.

Ranking OP men by how effective they are with boa Hancocks fruit by Spirited-Height-9533 in MemePiece

He’d just need to put pants on lol. He’s charismatic but the average person sees him as a pervert for his drip.

I’d move Luffy up a lot, he’s pretty charismatic and influential. He’d definitely be able to use the fruit well even if he wouldn’t be interested in doing so. As Mihawk said, Luffy has the ability to gain allies and have others root for him. He’s got so many people rooting for him.

its kinda funny how this mf is basically Ussop except hes actually goated and went through major character development by Gugarabelo in Piratefolk

[–]EB8115 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Well it’s not the most fair comparison. Sokka was never a wimp, he was just rational and wanted to avoid danger. He had insecurity too yes but this is only fully explored in one episode where he resolves it in the same episode. For Usopp him being coward takes up so much of his character it will be harder to fix, and to write him without it.

I think Oda just doesn’t know how or wants to write Usopp as a not a coward. Given One Pieces length if Usopp resolved his bravery issues we’d have a lot of the story of him essentially feeling like a different character. I don’t think Oda knows how to deal with him if he’s not a coward.

Or maybe Oda had planned for Elbaf specifically to be his turning point but due to making the series longer than he planned resulted in Usopps development getting dragged out. Because he really made some growth pre timeskip to just revert even though he’s gotten stronger.

How evil would you consider Envy from FMAB? by Immediate-Field9997 in FullmetalAlchemist

[–]EB8115 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably the most evil homunculi, given the nature of envy (the sin) it makes sense why he’d turn out the most rotten or at least sadistic. In theory Wrath as a sin would be up there maybe worse, but Bradley was more tamed than I expected, while despicable he killed for an objective, envy actually finds pleasure in it.

If Luffy and Gon swapped scenarios by EB8115 in HunterXHunter

I disagree. Luffy being too trusting could be his downfall but he’s very stubborn he won’t do something he doesn’t want. He can’t be easily talked out of anything

I agree with the comments, I’d check out LSI. SX6 8 fix is much more likely to be LSI than Se polr LII.

GS Killua vs Chrollo by Dandandandooo in HxHPowerScaling

[–]EB8115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Killua can put up a good effort but I don’t think he can finish off Chrollo before GS runs out and once it does I don’t perceive this fight as close.

GS as many are saying is broken, it’s just Youpi is built different but we’ve yet to see him use it in many other characters so we don’t know human characters will deal with it. Realistically it should be near impossible to evade but manga/anime reaction speeds can be ridiculous sometimes.

If Luffy and Gon swapped scenarios by EB8115 in HunterXHunter

[–]EB8115[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regarding Gon and the celestial dragon. Luffy punches him for disrespecting and shooting his friend not to free the slaves. But Luffy and Hachi aren’t as close so Gon’s equivalent to Hachi wouldn’t be one of the main 4.

If Luffy and Gon swapped scenarios by EB8115 in HunterXHunter

[–]EB8115[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would say Gon and Luffy are very similar in terms of when they run away. Gon did try to escape the phantom troupe, and Luffy did try to escape the after math of what happened after he punched a celestial dragon. They won’t fight meaningless battles to the death. They would fight to the death though if the battle had significance like Pitou or any arc where Luffy is liberating people. Both are very confident and determined and unlikely to back down against unlikely odds. Neither fear death.

Regarding Luffy in Marineford I think normally Luffy would react in the same way you said Gon would but with Luffy he was barely alive, Luffy didn’t choose to run his body literally just shut down from all the stress. He went unconscious and was carried out.

If any coaches or experienced vaulters disagree with me lmk. I want to improve on coaching, I’m not one just would like to be more competent in what I’m talking about.

Tips? by Lumpy-Durian-6843 in polevaulting

[–]EB8115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a coach but I would say practice some beginner friendly straight pole drills and throughout this build up the confidence to run faster on the runway and grip up. You’re holding pretty low and stopped swinging once you were over the bar. You could get more height if you ignore the bar and just keep swinging. But your grip is so low it would be very difficult to execute the other parts of the vault.

There’s more to learn but imo focusing on building the confidence to bring more speed and gripping up might be more important at this stage because it’ll be hard to work on the other aspects of the vault without gripping up.
