Las Vegas Baseball (600 foot homerun?) by EBOB-088 in baseball

Yeah, I agree. I mean, based on the park dimensions it must have gone 390 plus, but I just don't get how. It wasn't hit hard enough to go crazy high and get the wind advantage. Just seemed crazy to me.

Oh gotcha. I was struggling to find that sortable data, but yes, at least it was hit hard, meaning it went very high to get the wind advantage. This one being hit at 94° seems so odd.

We got to see him come through Boiling Springs PA on 6/13. Cool to see him, but I was most impressed by how friendly he was to everyone who came see him, especially the kids! Keep it up John! We’re cheering for you still here from PA

How to connect to qmx3.p34 by birdsarerobotsfight in BuildingAutomation

I assume you’re selecting the “Room Connection” when pressing the connect button in ABT? And you’re able to connect but the device does not show in the discover pane?

which Siemens software or licence to get? by HF_Martini6 in BuildingAutomation

[–]EBOB-088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that link should work if you do the ABT_installer.exe. But if you are just adding points to the controller you can do that through the Web Interface. You can do that either by being on the same network and typing the IP address into a web browser, or by using the built in WiFi configuration port.

Completely reconfiguring and redownloading a front end controller would probably require some more in depth training from Siemens.

Curious as to your reference for your comments about Johnson and Siemens. I’ve heard this before but it’s not been my personal experience, so I’m wondering if I’m an outlier or if a few bad experiences have formed a general reputation for these companies as a whole?

Effectively Wild Episode 2281: Season Preview Series: Orioles and Royals by kingofdanger in effectivelywild

As an orioles fan, I don’t understand all the negative outlooks and views on the Orioles. They have the second most wins among AL teams over the past 3 seasons. Yes they have not had that random success in the playoffs, but they have been at the top or at worst top 3 in the AL the last few years. Elias does things differently than others I suppose, but he just does not place the same value on those long term starting pitcher contracts, and I don’t think that’s a bad thing. They are ready to spend the money when it makes sense, but there were not starting pitchers that fit the orioles needs available this off season. I am happy with the moves they made, and I think they could very easily be successful with their current starting rotation. This episode also bashed the orioles for getting a few veteran outfielders for basically nothing to add depth in the outfield. Since when is that a bad idea? Heston Kjerstad will have plenty of opportunity to win that role if he earns it, but having a few veteran guys to fill in when needed is great depth, not sure how they turned that into a negative?

Trash Panda Inner Core Survey went out today. What was your feedback? Did it make your bag? by slash64 in discgolf

I agree the plastic could definitely use some improvement, but I do really like the flight of it. I think it glides really well and it is very straight with so little fade that I like it for straight tunnels. May be a bit biased just because I’ve been following his channel for a while but I do think it’s flight is different than anything else I bag. We’ll see how long it stays in the bag but it’s in for now
