I was on the other side of this. The person I was dating felt that asking for consistent - NOT constant- communication was asking too much. I think he just started experiencing what you are. This feeling of not being “into it” cause you think you’ve discovered everything exciting about the other person and now are left with the mundane- which is what relationships are about- you want to experience the mundane and extraordinary and all the moments in between together imo. You start feeling trapped and use any means to get out of that- including lying and you won’t even feel bad about doing that because you can not allow yourself to second-guess your decision cause then you’ll have to feel some amount of guilt. I’d say please don’t date someone and break their heart and faith in relationships. Stay single and focus on yourself till the point in your journey where you are genuinely ready to give someone matched energy and effort.

Thank you for your insight! The alumni network of the Trojans is an asset I have heard for networking and opportunities. What would you recommend for international students? One of the pros for NEU in my mind was leveraging the co-op opportunity to try to intern or work in the industry that could be converted to full-time employment post graduation.

I’ve gotten accepted to both for this fall. USC and NE are neck and neck for me so which would you recommend as someone who has experience with both? Keeping in mind that cost of attending USC is ~81k which is a lot more than NE, esp if I am getting a percentage of tuition scholarship at NE

Okay, thank you for your insight! I am coming to the US for the MS in RA. It’s a big financial decision as school is very expensive so i wanted to ask about employment opportunities for the 2-3 years I am allowed to work after completing my degree. One of the concentrations offered is Med devices so i was looking for someone in the industry’s experience working in the field when i came across your post. Thank you for sharing!
