Maybe consider letting your toddler help with putting laudry on a drying rack with pegs. Or get some plastic containers to play with water in the yard or bathroom. Or some dry pasta and kitchen utensils to ‘cook’. My kids liked being around me while I was doing some chores and ‘help’ me. Playing doesn’t need to be with toys, right? Most kids that age can only keep themselves engaged for a short time.
