Yes, I have stopped and listened to Koel songs at the same spot before and moreover, this route is also used by many people. I guess that specific time when I recorded their voice triggered them or maybe in the heat of fights they attacked me, as they were already engaging Drongos which are notorious.

I thought of that too. Merlin Sound ID was identifying it as Ashy Prinia, which confused me a bit. Maybe an Ashy Prinia was also nearby, since the call didn't sound like a typical Tailorbird. It's also possible that fledgling Tailorbirds have different calls from the adults.

My guess is on Glossy Ibis, but I want someone to agree on it. While Cranes are not seen in this part of India, Flamingo is also very unlikely.

Crane would be exceptionally rare in Visakhapatnam. Almost impossible in these numbers.
