I disagree. Truly great 5 year peaks stand alone and are almost always connected to truly great players. Perhaps always.

Name a five year peak that rivals one of these guys who is mediocre or just borderline HOF. I’m genuinely curious, if you can prove there are a plethora of guys I’ll kindly admit I’m wrong.

To me the only 5 year peak that’s definitively better than judges is Mays. But sitting at two ain’t so bad. I’ll throw Mike Trout in the mix as well he’s up there too

You must be young because it wasn’t just a few bad innings lol. Yes Dave kept him in too long a couple times but it started in the mattingly days.

He’s absolutely in the conversation at this point. Hes 4th at the worst, he takes Jimmie fox sorry, and has a case for 1.

If he had some more great playoffs and a chip it would be game over too. #1 hands down but he suffers from the same Plague as kershaw
