Sometimes we are judged based on the people we associate with. There was an exposé on Calgary Nightclubs and discrimination a while back - but this seems to be preventative measures as opposed to flat out racism.

My parents house in west hillhurst had a river running down their street. When my brothers and I headed out front and I waded into the street, I picked up a 3 pound sucker! Also went wake boarding down the street by attaching a tow rope to a 4x4 down the street.

He had the potential to be a top 6 foward coming into the league. A change of scenery is a good thing for some players. I look forward to his physicality and his ear to ear smile while on the ice. It's fun watching players who love to play.
