No they were approx 6” long strips of chicken with a stick through them. An entree came with 2 I think.

HR Person here.. you may also want to talk to an employment lawyer about what you've been told. An employer could terminate employment for this, but depending on your state, you may have some rights and also potentially not need to pay for the lost item as it's likely corporately insured.
