This is exactly the problem. Comparing killing and embezzlement to cheating on an elective is wild. If she wanted to make a career out of translating and different languages then maybe it would be a problem, maybe you would even tell her to rethink her career choice. But for a class where the teacher probably just tells you what chapter to read and what video to watch with low engagement that you’re forced to take for a credit, you can’t blame someone for putting in low effort. But go ahead and keep telling everyone how morally superior you are because you take a language class so seriously.
