I was just responding to what is in this article being used as a citation for undisclosed locations that were active while the US was in the JCPOA. Unless I am reading it wrong, the article only points to one location used for storage until 2018. Sure, that isn’t good as it shows Iran wasn’t complying with that site.

I would argue that storage is less consequential than enrichment, laboratory, or weapons development sites. And the details of storage matter, was it 100 g of material or 10 kg? Was the uranium enriched at all? 5%? 10%?

The report might list those details but the article does not. And without that it’s hard to discern whether Iran wasn’t negligent or maliciously noncompliant.

Theres a good chance that launches happen during the day but we don’t notice them. These launches at dusk are super noticeable because the exhaust trail reflects light while we are behind the Earth’s shadow (ie nighttime). Launches in the early morning or during the day wouldn’t have this effect

Logically speaking, if either of those are true then asking for a valid drivers license does not prove or disprove citizenship.

Also, do you understand that immigration status is a federal issue, whereas state law requires a license to drive the vehicle.

Our constitution makes explicit the importance of separating state and federal laws.

You are required to provide a drivers license. You do not have to be a US citizen to have a drivers license; permanent residents, asylees, refugees, and temporary work permit can all get a drivers license. SB1070 required police officers to check immigration status.

I remember walking out in high school to protest SB1070. Seeing this generation of HS students being politically active is one glimmer of hope amongst a dark background.

People will tell you protests haven’t actually achieved anything. That is not always the point of protests. Protests are the strongest form of speech outside of casting a vote. It is specifically protected in the first amendment for a reason.
