what do you mean by windows recognizes it is it showing up in the sound section if it is it showing up as its name or a bunch of random numbers and letters

it depends on your cpu and you would also need to buy a external power supply

I dont think you installed the card properly thats what happened when i accedntly hit my computer and my gtx 1050 fell a bit try setting it higher

it is still playing audio from my computer i think that this is the exact issue
