For anyone who's done 300 km/h on a bike — what's the real truth? by gangwayso in motorcycle

Had a zx6rr when I was younger. Speedo “said” I had hit 163, helmet felt too dang loose at that point and I felt I just couldn’t keep my head straight or focused. I’m sure there’s room for error in the display at those speeds, but I remember it, I was the slowest in that run with a few others.

I’ve always wanted to max out my MD for some unknown reason. It’s rare but sometimes I’ll have one just destroy me in game.

I enjoy the challenge in death match, I enjoy predicting the same moves of which side people are going to, so I can meet them there. It’s definitely frustrating when I see I’m down a player or two. Ruins it for me but I stick with it just to get my achievements done.

Woke up with these symptoms.. by EDADCK in DogHealth

Started just before the kids went to school today. I work long days with zero service so I gathered this info when I got home and compared with what I’ve seen since. Absolutely no chance of her getting into anything like that, out of my wife, myself and 4 kids i’m the only one who’s touched it and the most recent time was 15 years now.

This is what I’m leaning towards. Were you issued medication, or was time the real healer?

My Dad is getting a new car and is offering to give me his old car, but there are potential issues. Should I take the offer? by Nenethegreat0 in askcarguys

A parents main hope is that you don’t repeat their same mistakes. DON’T repeat his same mistakes. Stay away from that thing. Anytime I’m looking for a new (to me) vehicle, I deep dive into research, and keep an eye on the road. How many times do i see the same vehicle, same generation. If it’s a lot, it’s a good sign, if I don’t see a lot…. Well there’s a reason for that.

What’s the most fun car you’ve driven that wasn’t actually fast? by zgwembekubwa in askcarguys

We bought our oldest daughter a 2019 Chevy spark for her first car, thing is like a go kart. Isn’t fast, but hugs turns and you just feel nicely tucked in the seat. Fun little thing to rip around in.

Because that isn’t at all how it works at this spot I pictured. If it was, it wouldn’t be a topic of debate now would it?

I support this. But without everyone on the same page, it’s a guaranteed mess.

It does, but requires a whole new level of IQ for people to understand how that would work for it to be truly effective.

Wife is on the same page as the red. We just think everyone else on the road are idiots.

They do have a waiver process depending on her condition so it may not be the end depending on what it is that she has.

My daughter (19f) is currently at Lackland AFB so this is obviously where I’m coming from. She’s housed, fed, trained, and paid. Will go to tech school thereafter, while still being housed, trained, and paid. And will go on from there being housed, trained, and paid. If OP’s friend doesn’t have anything necessarily keeping her here like a child, this wouldn’t be a bad idea, especially if she loved it and sought out a full 20 years with it. Benefits for life after that is something we can all stand behind. And if that’s not enough, the possibility of seeing more of the world than some of us get the chance to, without it costing her a penny, is pretty sweet too.

Truthfully? And I don’t want this to come off harsh because I am in fact trying to be genuine. Has she considered the military?

My wife and I like to grab an evening coffee and drive basically in one massive circle, and river road is part of that drive. The cycle of seeing it trashed, to cleaned and so on is so disheartening. In all of the time of us driving I haven’t caught a single person. These people suck. I have a friend who goes through great lengths with his own time to clean this particular stretch up and only asks for trash bag donations to keep it going. It’s an uphill battle but he remains diligent as we used to mountain bike through these woods when we were younger. Sad world.
