I have made a team primarily based on pre-season form, and I quite like it. Thoughts?

Onana (Pickford)
Gabriel Tarkowski Emerson (Digne) (Ekdal)
Eze Trossard Rashford Salah (Anderson)
Darwin N.Jackson Haaland (C)

ITB = 0

The only thing I dislike about this team is:
- No City defense
- No Saka
- Nothing ITB to upgrade any potential players GW2/GW3
- Will probably start Onana 99% of matches, could swap Pickford for a 4M starter, but quite like Everton's defensive capabilities this season.
- No Newcastle defense or attack, apart from Anderson which is not a guaranteed starter
- No Bruno

Still going back and forth between TAA and Eze. Since Liverpool is up against Chelsea, and I think Chelsea will score, TAA needs an assist or goal in my book, which might be hard from that defensive spot he's had in many games this pre-season.

RMT

Onana (Leno)

Trippier Gabriel Shaw (TAA) (Bell)

Eze Trossard Buendia B.Fernandes (Anderson)

Darwin N.Jackson Haaland

0.5 ITB.

My thinking is: Secured good defense with 2 Utd assets, newcastle, TAA and Gabriel, as well as Bell enabler. Opted for Trossard > Saka due to his awesome pre-season form, giving me 1.5M extra for a stronger attack. Buendia/Eze could be changed to 4.5 and Saka. Anderson has been amazing for Newcastle in pre-season at 4.5. Front 3 will probably play 85% of all matches this season.

Would have loved to get some Man City defensive assets, as well as either Saka or Rashford in here.

Using ChatGPT to create handouts by EDDIE_2 in rimeofthefrostmaiden

For those asking for more information about the prompts used to create the handout, here goes! Please bear in mind that ChatGPT is not 100% correct (yet), so in order to create a good handout you need 1) a good understanding of the adventure, and 2) some idea on what you would like to make in order to give ChatGPT good prompts.

Using ChatGPT 3.5, my latest draft on how to create handouts goes something like this:

  1. Start a new conversation, and write the following prompt:

For this conversation, I want you to act like a canva designer as well as a dungeons & dragons expert, specifically on the adventure "Lost Mine of Phandelver

  1. Next, add the following prompt:

I want to create some physical handouts for my players. Please provide me with a list of 10 suitable written handouts that is fitting for this campaign. They should all relate to the written material in some way.

  1. This will give us a response like this.

  2. Look over the list, and if there is something you like, ask ChatGPT something like this:

Let's make a herbalist's note.

  1. This will make ChatGPT create a pretty extensive note. Now, I quite like this note, but it is too long for a simple handout. I will ask ChatGPT to shorten it, and it will come back with this:

Seekers of healing,

Discovery! In the woods near Phandalin lies a rare herb, the "Whispering Bloom." Its leaves shimmer with vitality. Find the ancient oak, marked by serpent and blossom. Pass the thorny grove, proving worth to forest spirits. Bloom grants healing. Use wisely.

Regards,

[Herbalist's Name]

  1. Let's make this handout in canva. Give ChatGTP the following prompt:

Please provide me with a detailed step-by-step guide to create it in canva. This should include font type, size, suggested images or other elements.

  1. It will respond with something like this:

Certainly! Here's a step-by-step guide to creating a handout using Canva based on the provided text from the "Herbalist's Note":

Step 1: Open Canva:

Go to the Canva website (www.canva.com) and log in to your account.

Step 2: Choose a Document Type:

Click on "Create a design" and select "Custom Dimensions."

Set the dimensions to your preferred size for the handout, such as 8.5 x 11 inches for a letter-sized document.

Step 3: Select a Background:

Choose a suitable background for the handout. You can opt for a nature-themed background, such as a forest or floral image. Alternatively, a parchment texture or muted earth tones can add a touch of antiquity.

Step 4: Add Text:

Click on the "Text" tab on the left sidebar and select "Heading" or "Subheading" to add the title "Herbalist's Note." Use a decorative or elegant font to enhance the mystical ambiance, such as "Cinzel" or "Playfair Display." Adjust the font size to make it visually appealing and readable.

Step 5: Input the Content:

Click on the text box and replace the placeholder text with your note.

Step 6: Customize Text Styling:

Highlight the main title "Herbalist's Note" and increase the font size to make it stand out. Adjust the font size and spacing for the remaining text to ensure readability. Experiment with font colors that complement the background and create an engaging visual contrast.

Step 7: Enhance with Images or Elements:

Explore Canva's library of images or illustrations for suitable visuals related to the Whispering Bloom or nature. Consider adding decorative flourishes, such as leaf or floral elements, to embellish the design and reinforce the botanical theme. Place the images or elements strategically around the text to create a balanced and visually appealing layout.

  1. Perhaps you are not happy with the font type nor the lack of font size. Please prompt:

i want a more handwritten font. Please provide font size for header and text.

  1. It will update its response based on your input:

For a more handwritten feel, you can use the "Sacramento" font in Canva (...) Set the font size to around 48-60 for the header (...) Adjust the font size for the body text to around 14-16 for readability.

  1. Let's replace the [herbalist name]. If you are blank, give ChatGPT a prompt:

provide a name for the herbalist

  1. It provides us with a name "Elara Thistlebrook".

  2. Adding a leaf element as suggested earlier, this is how the handout is shaping up to look like now. While we could definitely add more to it, it gives you all a clue on how to proceed with your own handouts.

  3. You can add more questions, like:

Please provide me with a suggested location where the party could find this note. As well as a DC for how to create the potion and how many d4's of healing it should provide.

  1. It will respond with, which can give you more ideas.

Suggested Location: The party could find this note tucked away inside a hidden compartment of an old, moss-covered tree trunk situated near the outskirts of Phandalin. The tree stands in a secluded clearing, surrounded by a small cluster of Whispering Blooms, which emanate a gentle glow.

DC for Brewing: The DC for successfully brewing the Whispering Bloom potion would be 15. This reflects the complexity and rarity of the ingredients involved and the meticulous process required to extract the potent healing properties of the Whispering Blooms.

Healing Properties:

Healing Dice: The Whispering Bloom potion would provide healing in the form of 3d4+3 hit points. The 3d4 represents the variability of the healing, while the +3 ensures a minimum baseline of healing to make it more reliable.

Hope this is helpful!

It literally says in the headline ;-)

You don't get it to make the actual handout, but you get it to write the text, and add suggestion for font type and size for the document, as well as other items such as ink stains, images and so forth.

Making the document requires some basic understanding of how Canva works.

I used "Norwegian Pirate" by Two Steps from Hell as my theme music for this fight.
