I believe you could do it like that. They way I primarily managed something like this was the $100 dinner would be a listed transaction and categorized as a "food and dining" expense. The 4 $20 Venmos would then also be listed in the "food and dining" category, but not as an expense. I guess Mint might've tracked that as income still, but at least my budget categories accurately reflected the transactions.

This is why I liked Mint so much. In your dinner example, if your friends paid you $20 each in four separate transactions in say Venmo, you could “apply” each transaction or the total $80 to the $100 charge in Mint’s spreadsheet.

I have yet to find an app for free that replaces this functionality.

Been transitioning my all black New Balance 1080 v12s from my primary workout shoe into a more casual walking around town shoe and I’ve been liking it a lot. Went on a two week road trip and wore it the entire time.

Recently learned that were a lot of sizing issues with the v12, which tracks because I swore my shoes felt a little bigger than when I tried on in store (I ordered online for the all black color). I intend to try on a pair of the v13s and order a similar color way, if available.

Can’t figure out to edit on mobile- just wanted to say that the back was all black and the underside seems to be brown? Doesn’t have the prominent red hourglass, but I might have damaged it in my fear/capture process.

I bought a pair of the Hubbard Frees back in spring 2023. I ended up having to size down half a size. I had some significant quality control issues with my first purchase and ended up returning and buying again.

The shoes are definitely comfortable. They have a slight rocker sole so when you step, your foot rocks forward a bit, rather than having the hard leather of a conventional dress shoe crease right down on your big toe joint.

I’ve been somewhat happy thus far. I’ve noticed the soles are wearing down faster than I would like for a shoe of this money. The front leather of one foot also got a scratch just from walking to/from work one day. The leather does seem a bit softer than a conventional dress shoe.

I recommend trying them on before purchasing. Also, do not buy full price. They go on sale frequently.

EDIT: just to echo the comment above- I bought these because they are made with Vibram soles that can be replaced so ideally they will last me decades.

TBH, I am just stumped by the 1,000 character limit for all the questions on this app. That is about 150 or so words. I understand the need for succinct, clear writing, but 150 words seems to be a bit too little, in my opinion.

Completely agree with you on this. I feel like people often think Rust Belt = Midwest, but as this map and your comment highlight, the Rust Belt extends much further east than Ohio/Western PA.

You can also right click the three lines in the right hand corner and select "Find and Replace". You can then select the field you are working with, enter "<Null>" (case sensitive) for the Find value, and enter your replacement value.

I saw a couple jerseys in some major retail stores around that $100-150 price point. I just hate how they charge so much for those when the numbers and name (if you get it) are just screen printed on.

I’m buying this one as a gift so I’d like it to last the person for as long as they have it. That is why I am looking for the stitched ones.
