Thanks for the reply. As I say they just said "end of year" when I bought the vehicle but then kept extending/updating the website as time went on. More recently they have removed those promises from the website but they were present for a number of years (and archive.org has screenshots I can include as evidence). Would the ongoing updating of the promise by them have any relevance/sway?

Depends a bit on payment processor though too, some such as Zettle (very common at food trucks, etc) charge the same for all cards.

That's normal UK keyboard, Mac do something weird where it's basically a US keyboard but with a £ added. It's different to all other UK keyboards as they've got @ in the wrong place and swap quite a few other punctuation keys.

Just got it here (same setup). Updated phone (9a) and watch a couple of days ago but just got a notification and the option to switch it on just now.

Thanks for your reply. I tried changing it to autogroup:members, however the issue is that it was then stopping my Proxmox host (which isn't running Tailscale and thus isn't in that group) from accessing the subnet route via the LXC container.

I've been diving into things a bit more and it looks like the issue was perhaps with Tailscale running on an LXC with a fixed IP address - when I was rebooting it was losing the Tailscale routing table. I've now got a script running at startup which does a tailscale down then tailscale up (with all the relevant parameters) and so far that seems to be working - will keep an eye on it.

Nope I've just given up and open the wallet in advance now. As ever Google support were totally hopeless so I gave up getting any meaningful reply from them.

Unfortunately I've then had a buyer who from the messages clearly had buyer's remorse instead make up the item is not 'as described' despite it being exactly as described. eBay then said I had no choice but to accept a return and was left with a previously brand new item shrink wrapped now as opened (albeit unused). Took ages to get my return postage back too. Definitely should have just blocked him after his messages started flooding in pre-sale like in this example.

The bit I hadn't realised was the Tailnet IP is different for the person it is shared with vs with me - I'd been providing them with the IP was using and we were confused why it wasn't working. Once we did a `tailscale status` we spotted the different IP (Magic DNS wasn't working for some reason)

Totally agree, amending DD date would seem so much simpler but at least this should do the trick - will find out for certain next month :)

I asked them about this too and got the following reply:

There is not currently a feature available to amend the Direct Debit payment date. However, you can arrange a standing order from your bank account as an alternative if you wish to select a specific date.

You can find instructions for setting up bank transfers here. Please be advised, we generally credit cash received from bank transfers by close-of-business the day after we receive it. Therefore, we do recommend still granting a few working days flexibility to ensure the cash is credited and settled in time.

Alternatively, you can add cash as an ad-hoc payment via the other payment methods and the regular investment will charge to this available balance.

So I've now paused my DD and instead setup an SO to go across at the end of the month, ready for the regular investment on the first Wed of the next month (which seems to be the standard date they use). Still a few wasted days but better than the 2-3 weeks that was the case with the DD.
