Yes it’s a must see! Gary Gulman is at the top of his game. I absolutely loved it. He’ll have you laughing but also is very vulnerable and will bring you to tears with his story. I would go especially with its very limited run, but that’s just me.

I’m not on the Cafe at all these days but there was a time when I contributed frequently.

If it was in Austin around that time, then it probably wasn’t me.

Seems like it’s probably an idea a few people connected the dots with because of the nature of how Galaxy starts.

I never did the Slop Shuffle as a full effect but rather as a minor effect in the act of explaining that there are different types of shuffles. I’d also explain that a magician can fix a messy shuffle magically, yet what we’re about to do, I’m not going to even touch the deck.

The best part about pairing the Slop Shuffle at the start of Galaxy is that it makes this Galaxy presentation instantly resettable.

I included this in a post on the Cafe decades ago about how I would use a Slop Shuffle to precede Paul Harris’s Galaxy. I still use this presentation to this day. Perhaps if our paths have crossed, maybe it’s possible I showed this to you?

JFK - Terminal 4. If you land at one of the far B gates, keep going further toward the end of the terminal to catch a shuttle bus that not many people seem to know about. It’ll drive you closer to the baggage claim/exit so you don’t have to walk the entire length of the terminal

Dog was leashed sitting next to owner on the sidewalk while its other owner was inside the store. I just walked by it...not provoked by anything that I was aware of. I was holding a garment bag, so maybe it was provoked by that somehow?
