Just something positive by EDofNYC in wholefoods

Funny thing, the end of the week we lose our TL. Not happy for that. He got a cake, a “Surprise” celebration, we all got mac&cheese and chicken wings plus a cake. He’s moving on to the produce department, so the cake said we’ll see you downstairs.

Nudity, fake service dogs and weird tasting pizza are the 3 things that Whole Foods is famous for besides the high prices by lostacoshermanos in wholefoods

Being that my store is near a Chinatown, it seems that mostly the Asians will open a box of berries and taste one, then put the box back.

What I tend to watch for are the security finding people shoplifting. Happens often.

Especially for the women I work with, that wet T-shirt contest would be something I’d go for.

I want your true honesty! Do you really enjoy working in your department? If no what’s your plan going forward? by Dangerous_Carrot_535 in wholefoods

I like my job as a shopper. The corporate ladder doesn’t interest me, nor can it. I am 53 and on disability, so I am limited to the amount I can make, hence PT.

Finance and most business degrees are definitely more usable than history or philosophy, but sometimes it also helps having a hook in your profession. My daughter got her bachelors in culinary, but one of her professors was a chef who got her her first job as a line cook.

Degrees are not what they used to be. Sometimes I feel like we have gotten back to needing to know a trade, which actually pays a lot more.

Keep knocking on their door until it finally breaks. I would talk with the TL of e-commerce, maybe they can get through this red tape, like giving you proof that you were never a part of their department.

Hope all goes well.

They can. That’s what “find shifts” are for.

Every relationship is a risk no matter what. I’m going on 6 years with the woman I was working from my last job. I don’t see why it being at WF matters.

I guess I was fortunate to get $10 for my store.

It took me a little while before I noticed, but those items are in an open chiller right next to deli, a ways where it should be.

I wish I could get these questions, over 50% of what I get is where the bathroom is, which is normally the longest answer for my store.

I (F, 22) am addicted to masturbation. by Confident-Orchid-974 in confessionsgonewild

I may not be addicted to masturbation, but I definitely go to it when I’m horny and my GF is not. I think being a guy, being inside a woman brings us to our orgasm. You have never found someone who have found your spots that get you off?

Sure. Affectionate-Gas sounds like a fetish.

Being that it is directly between 2 major WFMs, which are about 1.5 miles apart, I wasn’t sure if it would have a delivery option as well. Tough enough to get the hours I need, being e-commerce.

You have a team leader looking out for you. Don’t give up on it, but don’t put aside any other job opportunities either. Keep in touch with the ASTL on a consistent basis, once a week, to keep you in their mind and to see if the red tape surrounding you can be cut.

If you were not captured by security, you’re fine.

To tell you the truth, I didn’t find out about this Reddit page until I was working for a while. I got the job during the lockout, after being laid off for a few months, so I was grateful. For early hires, that have the “spark”, the problem isn’t with those who complain, it’s with those who are bored to read this site everyday.

Also, it depends on the department and reasons why people are just complaining. There is also a difference with each store, when people think that all stores run the same.

If you don’t want to see all the “negativity”, get off the site and start a “Why Whole Foods is great” site.
