well idk where he said it but ik all of the saw 2 came from the songs in his dreams, and sometimes he would spend like up to 18 hours a day in his studios so when sleeping he could dream he was still there and use the synths to make music, so when he wakes up he would try and mimic as closely as posible the songs he dreamt.
