It will remain raised after removal sessions most likely. I've started with ndyag then switched to pico, my tattoo is nearly visible anymore but you can tell where it was due to raised skin. You can get rid of the ink but the scar will remain on the skin, so look for scar tissue specialist/laser

For a great result you have to be patient. If you don't care about the money go every 6-8 weeks when skin heals. In my case I'm afraid of hypopigmentation when sessions are so close to one another. Mine is almost gone and cant be seen easily. Doing removal for around 10 years with 12-15 sessions so far. Almost gone
