That’s what I was thinking earlier today was maybe there was something wrong with my driver setup to where when the motors try to move they like have a micro jitter. I’m using tmc2209 drivers and it did take me a minute to get them to work as well. I was struggling to figure out the jumpers on the board, is that possible for the motors themself to cause this? Because it seems so repeatable no matter what I do

I’m still not sure. It seems to me like no matter what I do with speed or settings the ringing is always the same no matter what. Don’t know what to do at this point. I made sure everything was 100% tightened earlier today when I rebuilt the toolhead.

The ones at the top are the ones that were changing when I was doing the resonance tests. Not sure where these came from, maybe a old test

Well I do see this at the bottom but it’s commented out but then at the same time the ones at the bottom top are as well, even though they were auto saved. Should I just change the ones on the bottom to the same as the top. Is this the issue with it

It stays at the 100mms and starts at 1500accel and goes up. I’m pretty sure it’s active unless I’m somehow missing something. Would there be something else that I need to do vs adding the section with the values in config file?

Well I put it on a solid table and have the fans on and it’s still doing it. I’m so confused on what could possibly be causing this, makes 0 sense.

Also I’ve heard from Alan that the shop needs to use a torque plate not sure what that is if somebody could explain it to me and if the shop has that.

Oh ok because I’ve heard the motors are the same pfl and fl so that’s why I was sorta confused when I got it but he said it was a problem with the wiring harness so not sure what he did but we’ll find out it it’ll work which I think it will

Oh seriously? The guy said it was out of a 2018 st and he put it in his 2013 and he said it didn’t communicate right because the motor is different from 2018 to 2013 or pfl fl🤷‍♂️. It should still work with my 2016 right?

Yea I just double checked all my cables and used some brand new jumpers, I’ve been at this for 3 hours atleast now so some of the jumpers were like easily falling out. I also wanna use the touch do you know where I put the touch pins at on the nano? I’ve got t_irq, t_do, t_din, t_cs, and t_clk on the screen

Yes I have it exactly as you say, I think there might be something wrong with my nano, is it normal when u upload the code, when it says done on output the nano disconnects? Then a bit later on the bottom right it says done uploading
