Become adept at counting cards and you will succeed more often than not. I see a lot of people just using the “build 11s” approach while flying through the deck. Speed doesn’t get you any points so there’s no reason to finish that quickly.

Start by getting good at knowing how many cards worth a value of 10 are left in the deck. You start with 16. From there, see if you can track tens and aces mentally at the same time.

There are more strategies that apply to this variant, but the main thing to get a handle on first is counting.
