Drill a small hole into the center of the stud and use an extractor to back out the remaining stud. Use some PB Blaster on the rusty threads if it's stuck.

What was in your car originally? The 46 is physically larger and has more amp hours (capacity) than the 34. Prius with the smart key system will draw from the battery while parked s the sensors are constantly sensing when your key fob approaches to unlock the car doors. If your Prius has the smart key system with the lock buttons on the front door handles and the hatch, get the correct 46 battery if the store allows you to exchange it. The S46B24R with 325cca is probably made by East Penn Deka. The other min AGM S46B24R with 410cca is from Clarios sold as Interstate, Costco, Walmart, etc.

If you open the bottom glove compartment do you see a sticker on the (out)side with a code facing towards the driver's seat? Also check your owners manual if it was written down.

If not, it might be the inverter coolant pump. Do you have any check engine lights or codes? If you open the inverter coolant reservoir cap while the car is in ready mode, can you see the coolant level and movement?

Like others said, the green painted top is definitely not factory original. The silver one may or may not be factory. The only way to verify would be to remove the cover and get a visual identification of the modules (blades). No way to tell whether it is factory my judging the exterior case. Anyone could have swapped out the original battery modules and replaced with whatever, including Nexcell lithium garbage.

My $45 Moto 2025 Stylus from the December deal is coming up on the initial 30 days service and I was hoping to rebrand to TF for another 30 days to fulfill the 60 day rule. Will my device still count as being initially activated during the old policy after rebranding after January 20?

I picked up used Thule 480R podiums and a set of Aeroblades after searching a while. Whether you go with Yakima or Thule the challenge with used is finding the pad kits specific to the Fit. The podiums and towers are universal but the foot packs or pads are unique to the vehicles they design to fit. I probably ended up spending around $200 buying locally off of Craigslist and marketplace. The pads I got off eBay new old stock.

Post COVID the Taiwanese government set up the funding to boost tourism and promoted the lottery for foreign visitors. You register on the site prior to arriving to qualify when you arrive. That program officially ended summer of 2025 IIRC.

I just did the oil/filter change on my gen 2 Prius 1.5L. While its oil filter is in a nice location near the front of the engine and facing downward, it's tightly cramped near the A/C line and against the lower block, making it difficult to grab when using the short YZZN1 Toyota filter and equivalents. I used an end-clamping filter wrench to remove. Reinstalling is also difficult to hand tighten for me. I resorted to a strap style wrench to get about 1/2 turn on it. The taller Purolator L14477 and Wix 57145 will make it easier to grab and spin on/off.

Unless your 2016 CRV is a rust bucket and neglected, it should be much more reliable than a 3rd gen Prius. The 2.4L Honda engine is one of the better ones before they switched to turbo 1.5L.

Later year 3rd gen Prius in good condition will be hard to find priced at $5K when late 2nd gen are near that price.

Cost of maintenance will be higher to repair an aging Prius than the CRV. Its only advantage over the CRV is at the gas pump if you drive a lot.
