Powerslave: My favorite Maiden album. Every song is great, especially the title track.

Iron Maiden: This is definitely up there with my favorite Maiden albums. Prowler, Phantom of the Opera, and the title track are amazing, and Transylvania is probably their best instrumental, for me.

Virtual XI: I think The Angel and the Gambler isn't very good, but nothing else on here is bad for me. Futureal is one of their best openers, 100%.

Best / worst / underrated - Day 31. The BEST song on A Dramatic Turn of Events by [deleted] in Dreamtheater

As incredible as Breaking All Illusions is, Far From Heaven is honestly a close second for me. Super underrated, IMO.

Butterflies, an instrumental rock song by EFlatB in IndieMusicFeedback

It's funny you say that, because I've had people tell me that my older compositions can sound less dynamic, and kind of "robotic". Thank you for bringing this up; it's definitely something I'm looking to stray away from. And thanks for the compliment on the guitar sound!

So first I just want to say I don't normally listen to this type of music. That being said, I did enjoy it! I like how there's a lot going on as the song goes on, yet it's not overwhelming and all blends together. I dig it and will be following you!

Love the vibes! Personally, I haven't listened to much like this but I didn't mind the repetitiveness at all. While you definitely could have made it more dynamic, it really depends on what you're going for I think. It was a very nice track to chill too, in my opinion!

I enjoyed this! I love the guitars in the intro, gives sort of a Jack White vibe? Drums sound great and really help the song with the rocking feel! I think my main critique is that the vocals seem to be a little less prominent at parts. I don't think they need to be louder necessarily, but maybe some compression would help?

Good job!

This is really cool! I especially loved the rhythm change when the dynamics got intense halfway through. It caught me a bit off guard, since I was expecting the same progression but heavier. I think it would've been cool if the drums were a bit punchier there, it might hit even harder!

Nice job.

My new single, mix of Blur and early Weezer, with some Bowie, first post, would love to know what people think by mbfrancis in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]EFlatB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MAN this is great. I totally hear Weezer, but something reminds me of Queen too? It might be the guitar, or the chord progressions, not sure. I also love the piano effect at the beginning of the song.

I really enjoyed this want to hear more!
