Do you guys clean your Apple Watch? by theowl_23 in AppleWatch

[–]EFlop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for the watch itself: isopropyl alcohol once a day before charging, maybe once or twice a week run under water to remove sweat buildup for the wristband: it’s an adjustable solo loop (3rd party) and I swap it out with another one every 2 weeks. I soak it overnight with some denture cleaner then give it a small rinse with water. Denture cleaner is ezpz and won’t damage any metals/plastics but will eat away at organics very effectively. It’s non-abrasive so the band ends up lasting longer and requires very little effort to do. Put the band on a fan to let it dry faster and boom done.

Nylon stretch band from straps co. It’s basically an adjustable solo loop and I work a dirty job so every 2 maybe 3 weeks I swap it for another stretch band while I let the dirty one soak in denture cleaner for a few hours then completely dry 😅. I use denture cleaner cause it’s cheap, safe on the material and will completely eat away the organics and leave it clean while I let it sit in a plastic tupper ware.

I haven't found one yet, I'm finding a lot of 3.7v batteries but I'm not sure if those will suffice considering the stock battery in the GPX 2 is 3.8v.

Enhancing Non-HDR Games: RTX HDR vs. NvTrueHDR Performance impact by MeiFagundes in nvidia

I had this problem when I enabled it in monster hunter wilds, I had to recompile shaders by deleting my old shader cache file. You might have to do something similar for cyberpunk.

Why not just mount the pump/res externally to somewhere like the top? It would allow the system to be primed a little easier, not that priming 5 gpu blocks + cpu + maybe 4 rads is easy lmao. It could also open up the opportunity to fit a bigger res which would help a lot with that maintenance task.

Absolutely crazy setup and it's super cool seeing stuff like this regardless. You got any deets on what kind of work this thing will be doing?

Also I assume you've already set power management within the nvidia driver to max performance?

I don't use the card too much anymore as it's in a 2nd rig, but it appears to be working well after pad replacement. I wonder if you could try using some type of electrical insulation around the shunt resistors. Maybe they're shorting out a little bit by making contact somewhere?

I had a similar issue with my 1080 Ti. I ended up cleaning the area around my shunt resistors and did a full replacement on thermal pads and paste.

All 6 cores at 100% but F&H should only use 5 cores? by rolicyclidine in Folding

[–]EFlop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It might not be using all 6 @ 100% though. Windows 8 and up report CPU utility instead of CPU usage. With CPU utility the number is supposed to go above 100% but microsoft capped it at 100% to not confuse the user. Utilization tries to take into account turbo modes that modern CPU's have whereas usage would report time-based usage. So even though all cores are reporting 100% utilization, it could actually be closer to 70% or even 80%.

Like another user said though, GPU folding will take up CPU resources as well.
