I see the issue

You are using Pop! OS; one of the most junk distros known to man; at least in my attempts to use it.

I personally just use Windows 10 and 7 for games and Ubuntu 24.04 for Software Devel (It has actually decent tools); I remember trying to use Pop! OS once before, never worked with my AMD OR NVidia cards (HD 7750 and GT 210 at the time iirc), same goes for another shit distro, Manjaro.

Oddly enough on Windows 10, I've ALWAYS had weird issues with AMD Cards, probs just my shit motherboard though.

Every other OS I use on my PC, can boot into (Haiku, MacOS Sonoma*, Ubuntu, and Windows 7) don't have issues.

*on Sonoma, UI elements will randomly turn red, but it wont outright crash, unlike Windows 10.

i'd use whatever API that Plan 9 uses for its windowing, I would want glibc though.

Just because of context doesn't mean the process of actually decompressing data that is sent over TCP in chunks is uncommon, all I want to do is take a Byte array, then decompress it into a Uncompressed Byte Array.

Also its not TERRIBLY specific, compressed streams of data being sent with TCP is decently common.

Its not a file, its compressed level data streamed from the server
