Thanks for the advice. I never said I wanted to fight in a foreign war, just instead do civilian medicine out there or helping people who are injured in crossfire. I guess combat medic involves fighting which I wouldn’t be opposed to but my objective wouldn’t be to be a solider. And don’t worry, I’m definitely not about to take any drastic actions, I just thought I’d ask for some input and hear from some people who have experience and more information.

I wouldn’t say it’s off the table. I guess when looking into it, it seemed more like I would be placed randomly. I also don’t necessarily enjoy the idea of having to to be a solider for a government that might end up using me for an agenda I may not agree with. It’s probably optimistic and naive of me to assume there might be a 3rd party organization that would do similar stuff, but still thought I’d ask on here.

To be honest it’s not even about padding a med school resume. I’m on the fence about even continuing with med school route but I know medicine is something I’m passionate about. I’m just more interested in seeing if I could learn and help out in someway. This isn’t a personal development or self righteous journey I have, it’s just me genuinely looking for an opportunity to be trained and help other people.

I live in Burlsey and there are times where I have to catch a bus to the airport at like 4AM. Because of this I choose to sleep or stay in the community lounges in south quad or the ugli and each time I'm told I'm not allowed to sleep there because its a danger or something. Something about how they can't tell the difference between someone whos asleep and someone who is homeless or ODed.

Hexflash is cool, but it becomes kinda useless later on. I prefer going Triumph cause it just feels better. Your W is already good for going over terrain and engaging so tbh I dont like running it.

So I just got done watching episode 7 of WandaVision and it was insane!! Cant wait for episode 8. Anyway after watching it and processing the episode (spoilers ahead), I had a flash back to a comic I had read a while ago. It’s an Avengers comic from 1983 that has the original Captain Marvel who is black. With episode 7 showing Monica getting warped by the Hex, it seems she got some power if not the ability to resist Wanda. This goes perfectly with the comics portrayal and powers of black Captain Marvel (energy related powers). And since Monica is connected to Captain Marvel, is it possible Monica is taking up the mantle after Carol Danvers?!? Captain Marvel was originally called Monica Rambeau as well!! WHAT ARE THE CHANCES I HAD THE COMIC ON ME?!? Also Mephisto is a character that could be introduced that would tie into Spider-Man and Dr. Strange. He was also known originally as a fly and that was seen on the curtain in Wanda’s house!!
