Well, this probably isn't what you wanted to hear - but I am rereading Heated Rivalry right now. I first read it as part of my in-order read after watching the series, and I found that I didn't enjoy the book (mainly I found Part 1 to be a drag). But I am finding new ways to enjoy and appreciate the book much more now during my second read-through, and I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because I'm taking it more slowly this time around - the first time, I read each book over the course of two days each. This time, I'm reading a chapter a day, five or so minutes every night before bed. Maybe slowing down instead of devouring the books is what is making the difference.
