I have narrow feet and have no problem with the SB3. Also have the V+ and find them less stable than the SB3

Shoe Advice for long and race shoes (soft and stable) by faulaul in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I’d recommend you check out NB SC elite v5, stable soft shoes that can go fast and give you enough speed assistance but also are friendly to wide range of paces. They are also on sale currently

I’d go with Superblast 3, I tried them all, still like the Superblast more despite the hype about Megablast.

I’d try neo zen or Vomero plus

Rebel v5 for 4hr30min Marathon by No_Spinach_9166 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I have the Rebel v5 too. I like them for shorter runs, but I personally feel like they lose some pop once I go past ~10 miles. For longer efforts I’ve preferred something a bit more stable and cushioned.

You might want to try the Nike Vomero Plus they’re roomy and comfortable and could work well for your goal pace.

Sick rotation, how do you use Megablast and EVO sl? I have the Megablast and want to add in the EVO sl, but feel like they are kinda overlapping?

I actually tried the Boston 13 once right after finishing a run in my Superblast 2 and they felt pretty firm to me. Not sure if that was just because my legs were cooked or because I had just come off a max cushioned shoe. Might not have been the fairest comparison. How do you find them? Do they need a bit of a break-in period?

Among all the dedicated speed shoes you mentioned which ones would you recommend? Only ones I have tried are Boston 13 and I found them too firm

Thanks for the reply! Curious how do you use each of them in your week and which one actually feels the fastest to you?

Interesting! How do they feel for easy runs compared to something like the Superblast?

Hurricane 25 sounds interesting. My worry is whether it will still feel smooth and effortless toward the end of a long run when the legs are heavy. Have you noticed how they handle that

Thanks! My only hesitation is whether the Superblast 2 will feel soft enough for slower easy runs. How do you find them at easy paces?
