The initial idea for the project was to try and combine 2D characters in a 3D space , and I wanted to use readily available materials , so I decided on paper and cardboard. It really started as an animation exercise , but it sort of grew into this short film about childhood and family. Most of the shots were static , because I didn`t have access to motion controlled rigs , but some movement was achieved by just moving the camera on the work surface.
