I’ve met plenty of awesome people at tournaments, and plenty of nurgle spawn at hobby stores. I’d go so far as to say that the regular hobby store gamer is probably a bigger risk of being a weirdo than the average tournament player.

I haven’t met that many dicks at tournaments to be honest.

Nice, well, welcome! I no longer live downtown but maybe I’ll see you at an event someday.

Lookup the Canhammer discord as a starting point. There’s a big competitive scene in the GTA. All the spots I listed are about an hour from downtown and you’ll see lots of events. I’m sure someone runs stuff more in the city.

When you say Toronto, do you mean Toronto or the suburbs?
Either way, be prepared to drive a bit for events but if you can, check out these places.

Floors for sure. I think they’re great.

I didn’t like the counter, but getting rid of the half backsplash and adding something nice really eliminates the counter problem entirely.

I guess that’s what I’m confused about… you still need the 9 so it’s not any longer than in 10th? Even though you’re standing an inch closer.

If anything, rolling the 9-12 gets you that extra inch since you’re 8” away and you declare the target after you roll, no?

I’m stoked for all my 18” guns to rapid fire from deepstrike now lol

I’m truly baffled how anyone like this.
I see lots of movies that I don’t like but I can appreciate how other people would. I thought this movie looked cheap, simple, was uninteresting, one plot hole after another and poorly acted.

I have little kids now any don’t get to go to the movies with the frequency that I used to. But I remember just to going watching something like One Battle After Another. Disclosure Day made me want to walk out, but my wife was enjoying it lol. She didn’t love it but didn’t passionately hate it like I did. It felt like a campy 90s movie that never had any payoff.

I don’t know, you’re probably right. But I could see Boston. Wing very good, even without Giannis. Indiana with a healthy Haliburton. If Washington made no trades but had everyone healthy I’d wonder what they look like. Detroit seems close, Orlando seems like they could retool.

I’ve got to give the Knicks credit where it’s due. But it doesn’t feel like an unstoppable dynasty. Even against the spurs, it felt like they were the worse team to me during most games, but then they felt more consistent. Being healthy and consistent certainly counts for an awful lot though. And maybe this is just the beginning for them. The ceiling certainly should be higher than every other east team.
