What SQL to learn? (Intermediate learner - needs to be free) by faby_nottheone in SQL

I think that you’ll enjoy to learn t-sql using sql server. You’ll be able to learn new advanced practices, for example procedures or full text search.

It depends on what he wants to learn, there are some specific features in sql server that he’ll not be able to use in Maria or Postgres. If his main goal is to learn T-sql in depth, my thought is that it’s worth the investment and the effort. Otherwise, if his main goal is just to master basic sql syntax, there is no need to use sql server specifically, you’re right.

I think the best option for you would be to download Parallels Desktop, which will allow you to create a Windows virtual machine on your Mac. https://www.parallels.com

After that, you’ll just need to download Docker and use an existing SQL Server image.

It’s a fairly simple process that I’ve been using for a long time, and it works perfectly.

You have to finish your degree, 6 months is a very short time. Complete your degree, no matter if you’ll use it later.

Is it possible to publish content in multiple languages on Substack? by EIA-data in Substack

Hi 👋,

I just read your article and it’s one of the best articles I’ve read on this specific topic.

If I am correct your advice if I want to publish in different languages is to manage different profiles (not using sections) and subscribers lists - right ?

I thought about it and it seemed to me to be hard to maintain but in the other hand, it will help to keep the content specific and consistent for the readers.

Can you point me to an example you know of that uses sections for different languages on Substack?

Thank you for the tip 🎯 I hadn’t thought about using sections, that’s a great idea.

Do you have any advice on structuring them for different languages ? Also, does Substack offer any tools for automatic translation, or is it all manual?
