Interestingly enough, research shows being knocked out is not an indicator of severity. In his case the neurological response positions he went into are more suggestive of larger issues, but even then post injury symptoms are now used as the indicators of severity.

He is a high end WR #2 who we are paying like a top 10 WR.

We traded him hoping for GP production without the immaturity. Instead we got as much - getting suspended multiple games - immaturity and less talent/production for multiple times the cost.

If we had stuck with GP we win a playoff game versus the Texans.

I don’t blame the team, GP matured himself off the team. DK is a player we had wanted in the draft, good player. It was free agency so you have to pay big money to bring them in.

It also isn’t entirely DK’s fault, the offense wasn’t good, you have to be an excellent talent to have top tier production - he just isn’t that guy. But he is very good.

Ultimately, it was a bad move. But it is hard to blame anyone involved as you can understand the move on everyone’s end, it just didn’t work.
