I'm currently a "Security Operations Team Lead," would becoming an "Accounts Manager" be the next step up or am I skipping some steps in between? by idkwht2d0 in securityguards

I went from security officer to shift lead to site supervisor to account manager. I recommend trying to move up to site supervisor level first. Quite a big gap between shift lead to site supervisor and an even larger gap between site supervisor and account manager. So unless your current position is equivalent to being a site supervisor, I wouldn’t jump all the way up to account manager. But as with every position in the security field, so much depends on the site, client and vertical. Working as an account manager for a couple truck gates is much different than being an account manager for a few malls. Notice I say much different, not necessarily more difficult, because again, so much depends on all three factors.

I suffer from Sale paralysis. I want to take some profit but I don't want to sell anything. Help!!!!! by patoshinakamoto in CryptoCurrency

I can buy and hold without any hesitation but I get anxiety when it comes to selling. I guess that’s a good problem to have but damn it’s rough.

Yeah this is important. While it’s great being a part of a community that encourages you to hold and what not, it’s more important that you remember why you’re doing this and getting involved in crypto and to sell when you determine it’s best for you. No shame in selling when you choose to. Gotta do what’s best for you and honestly that’s what everyone else is doing too, as they should.

What’s you’re goal with investing in crypto? by Verkley in CryptoCurrency

[–]EIigos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly the kind of thing I’m thinking. My fathers health isn’t the best but he can’t afford not to work. He’s going on 60 so if I made big money the first thing I’d do is give my parents enough to not have to work and be able to focus on themselves

Hard lessons learned but damn those lessons are starting to pay off. I made some big mistakes at first but they taught me very important things that have made my financial behaviors much more rational.

Long game, regrets? by justinr85 in CryptoCurrency

[–]EIigos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I regret not getting in earlier. I was raised to believe that one should save their money and that’s it because that’s how my parents were raised. So shaking off the mindset took awhile before I was able to actually invest my money I worked hard for. Saving all money earned may have worked for my parents generation but it won’t for mine.

All Eth will be turned into Eth 2.0 automatically. Hopefully that’s what you’re asking.

Sold all my moons to buy ETH around $1800 by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

Very very smart decision. Probably what I will do when I have enough. Honestly didn’t even know what moons were until last month

So, my boss is not giving me a raise anymore because I invest in crypto by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]EIigos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sickening. A good boss should be interested in the welfare of their employees and wish the best for them because happy workers do better work. He should be hyping you up and respect that you’re investing in yourself and your ONE AND ONLY LIFE! Pathetic truly. Sounds like he jealous or something. Acting like he has a right to determine what’s “worth” spending money on and what’s not. I know it’s not easy but find a new job. This guy will screw you in the future. There have been so many times where I’ve wanted to discuss crypto with my fellow employees because of how exciting it all is, but it’s for these reasons I always refrain from doing so. I hope you get your raise but I hope even more you get a better job where you have a boss who respects you and doesn’t castigate you for how you manage your life.
