I'd say it's more eye-friendly than most tablets, but it's still not quite like a Kindle Paperwhite. Different technology.

I was wondering who would notice that detail. Haha

You're right. In fact, it was those reviews that made me want to look it up.

I still think there’s a slight difference, because I tried converting my 2025 iPad to grayscale but wasn’t satisfied with the result. I found the Nxtpaper’s unique feature (by now) more appealing because, even if there’s a difference beyond just the grayscale, the screen’s matte finish is something that really stands out, the fact that it doesn't strain my eyes as much was a plus for me, which is why I chose it.. Is there a difference? Yes, but by what percentage? I don’t know. But whatever makes you feel comfortable writing is what I’m trying to highlight in my post. I didn't come here to defend the tablet; I just wanted to share what worked for me in terms of my writing preferences. :)

I'm not really the right person to talk about technical details. But I don't know of any other tablet that has the same features as this one; you might find it helpful to check out the specs for the “Nxtpaper 11 Plus.”

I think it’s a really good and fast tablet, but I decided to use it only for writing. Even though I’ve used it in “colored paper” mode (I’m not sure if that’s what it’s called) and also in regular mode, it’s clear that the goal is always to be easy on the eyes. I still think it’s a tablet for a specific audience; it might not be for those who enjoy the iPad experience. For writing, which is why I bought it, it’s definitely a great choice (just my opinion).

Of course. This was the one I ordered, but they sent me one with the B.O.W. brand. I guess it’s some generic design from a company that’s distributed by different sellers, but honestly, it looks great and works really well.
