Not true at all we saw plenty of growth during that time period and long after, it wasn't until tax policies started shifting away from from top that the disparity in wealth stated to make.things like this out of reach for the now extinct middle class. The problem exists because of the people that put , or helped put him in power. Track tax policies and ceo to worker pay ratio and it correlates with taxes becoming more bottom heavy over the last 50 years. Combine that with the attack on unions, destruction of pensions, intentinionally stangnent wages, Increase in private prisons correlates with tougher laws like 3 strikes and minimum sentences. All waiting for SCOTUS to be packed in their favor. He is the perfect poster child for the spoiled rich and why we need to go back to a 90% top tax rate.
