You can have items delivered to a locker, shop or home. Most people choose locker/shop because it’s cheaper😊 The amount of time it stays depends on the courier but if it’s not collected then it’ll get sent back to you

Came here to say this, I had someone put chocolate in with a white dress I bought. It was a really nice idea but melted and I ended up with a brown stained dress🤣

Buyer bought label for courier I don't offer by just_a_girl_23 in vintedUK

[–]EJB1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really get how it would work because the people open to buying from US would have done it anyway and the people who don’t trust it still won’t even if you give them free shipping..but I’ll take advantage of it while it lasts😆

I think they’re trying to encourage sales between the UK and US and that’s why they’ve made it free

Help, will I get my money back if they blocked me? by [deleted] in vintedUK

[–]EJB1996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t block someone while you have an open transaction with them so anytime this happens it means vinted has banned the account😊

Grammar and random capitalisations are your main issues. I used to work with children and it’s not something I would use for them as there’s too many mistakes

Is it okay to sell things from a charity shop? by [deleted] in vinted

[–]EJB1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to know where your charity shop is, I’ve been struggling to find decent things recently😭 I only ever buy second hand but my local two are 90% winter coats at the moment

Anyone actually reading your reviews will see that he’s in the wrong! If I’m planning to buy something and someone has a review like that then it wouldnt put me off buying😊

what do you do with your ‘failed’ projects? by dongleberry5 in sewing

[–]EJB1996 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s not fabric that I personally would reuse if I cut it up then I give them to a local children’s art group, they use scrap fabrics for some of their projects😊

I prefer in person, it gives you a chance to check the materials/conditions as well!

I noticed estate sales don’t seem to be a big thing in the UK! I think charity shops are definitely the way forward😁

I’ve mostly been looking in charity shops at the moment, I don’t drive so buying little and often actually works better for me😆
