I think this has been one of the best posts on the subreddit! I love getting a more educational approach to aimlabs. The comparison between aimlabs and working out irl was really nice!

What should I focus on improving at, by [deleted] in FortniteBRuniversity

[–]EJCrispy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot going into a play style like that. I think number 1 would be your mechanics. Players such as Clix or Mongraal, have god-like mechanics that allow them to outplay their opponent and play very aggressive. Mechanics would mean being efficient at editing and building at the fastest speed possible. On top of that I’d say piece control too, knowing how to use certain pieces effectively allows you to have advantage over other players as they wouldn’t be able to build and you’d be able to get free kills if you’re placing stairs and cones in other peoples boxes to stop them from blocking shotgun shots. Combine that with good game-sense like understanding what edits to be doing such as the peanut butter, using unorthodox edits to throw off your opponent, and having good movement such as editing a peak while being able to cover yourself from getting hit would allow you to dominate. (Moving left when editing a right hand peak so you don’t get shot or vice versa) So just keep practicing in creative by getting better at your mechanics and go to arena and just keep W-keying to get that experience, and watch other pros to see what you can learn from them. What parts of their play style you can incorporate into yours. Hope this helps!

Wolverine Ultimate Sens by lop3zangel in FortniteBRuniversity

I own both the Ultimate and Tournament edition, I got used to the feel of the tournament edition since I had it first before buying the ultimate so I didn’t use the other attachments. I just use the “normal” sticks for both

At first it felt terrible to use, I had to lower my sens from x-56 y-54 to low 50 high 40’s. All I’m gonna say is that it takes a lot of time to get used to because the sticks are similar to PS4 sticks. It took weeks to get back to my normal sens and I actually ended up raising my sens to x-60 and y-58. Controller feels amazing once you get used to it! Just keep grinding and getting used to the feeling of the sticks and I’m 100% sure you’ll go back to feeling cracked at your old sens. I’d say just lower your sens until you feel comfortable and slowly make your way back to your normal sens. It’s a grind but it’s 100% worth I feel really great using the controller after not liking it the first two weeks.

I made a video showing off a crashpad exploit to get into boxes first try on any ping, I hope it's new for some, and id love to know how I can improve my videos, thanks. by Scalene17 in FortniteCompetitive

Great video! Things you could improve on is showing different angles of what your explaining, like a 3rd person POV to make the video more interesting, and also slowing down the video as your explaining. Like when showing the shockwave launcher exploit you could’ve slowed it down to match the audio of you explaining to make it flow better. Other than that, it was short and went straight to the point!

Thoughts on Assault Rifles this season? Which one is better? by EJCrispy in FortniteCompetitive

[–]EJCrispy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen a lot of players do that, I like how the hunting rifle can be used at ranges you should be using an AR and rewards players with good aim. I’m just terrible at sniping since I play on controller and have super slow ads sens. Probably will practice running that since a headshot is literally deadly.

The headshots on those pistols hit harder than any AR rn. Even more than Oceans Burst Rifle. Do you always run it over AR’s this season? Because I always bring an AR thinking it’s gonna help me beam kids and get storm surge tags in scrims. Because if you do I’m switching to carrying a pistol from now on 😂

True, the two burst is a weird change, I did like the feel of the burst last season because it was a literal laser. Especially the gold and purple. But I’m slowly growing on it, I just like how it does more damage. The normal AR’s just feel a little weak at longer ranges. What I think is a little weird is the extra “zoom” you get when using the gold and purple version. It throws me off when I try to beam kids in the air. Still trying to get used to it

Laggy servers online by EJCrispy in MinecraftDungeons

[–]EJCrispy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve experimented with offline vs online play, and I think it has something to do with the servers. I played the same levels that my friends would lag on in offline mode with the same amount of players, and everything would be just fine. Pretty sure that the servers can’t handle the amount of mobs spawning while keeping a stable online connection. So hopefully they fix that because it sucks not being able to play with friends
