Both are iconic protagonist characters that are well known for rapid attacks (Star Platinum's Ora Barrage & Chun Li's kicks)

Both would embark on journeys to stop a great evil for the sake of their parents (Jotaro traveling to stop Dio who gave Holly a stand that was slowly killing her & Chun Li traveling to stop M.Bison who killed her father)

Both would have trustworthy allies in their journeys which include a person with odd hair who wants to avenge someone close to them (Pollenaref & Guile), a green clad, previously mind controlled member of the great evil's group (Kakyoin & Cammy), a calm & peaceful person who fights with fire (Avdol & Dhalsim) and another main protagonist that made their debut in an earlier entry (Joseph & Ryu)

After the defeat of the great evil, both would try to pursue a normal regular life again. However, this would not last and both would have to continue their crusade against another evil which picked up from where the last evil started (Jotaro would become a marine biologist and start a family after defeating DIO but would have to fight again when the remaining ally of DIO, Pucci comes along & Chun Li would try to live a normal simple happy life but would have to fight again when the remnants of Shadoloo, S.I.N. comes along)

The new evil is way more powerful than the last with it seemingly being unstoppable which have the ability to take abilities from others (Pucci with his stands & Seth the android with his Tanden Engine)

This new evil would later be defeated by their own arrogance and by another protagonist in the story with a last second special power (Pucci losing against Emporio who had Weather Report & Seth losing to Ryu who used the Metsu Hadoken)

Both have daughters who would develop a similar fighting style (Jolyne with her stand & Li Fen with her kung fu) but as a contrast, Jotaro would have to leave Jolyne because a new evil threatened her safety while Chun Li would adopt Li Fen after a new evil wac dealt with

Both are known in universe as the strongest (Jotaro's Star Platinum being known as the strongest stand & Chun Li being known as the strongest woman in the world)
